,".9~@~ <br />IMP'I~OVElVIENT OI~,DINANC~ <br />ORDINANCE NO. 9293 <br />An Ordinance to improve Tvrnety-seventh Avenue East, fran University Street and Potter <br />Street in the City of Eugene, Oregon, by installation of integral curb concrete paving <br />or asphaltic concrete paving vrith combinatl;ion curb and gutter, and grading and drainage <br />the reof, <br />THE CITY -OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS <br />Section '1. That the Common Council of the City:of Eugene Lane county Oregon, does hereby declare <br />its intention to improve Twe nty-seventh AvP,nue East from j)'niversity Street and Potter Street <br />in the City of Eu~Bne, Oregon, by installation of integral curb concrete paving, or <br />asphaltic cmcrete wing wi-th combination curb a nd 'gutter, and grading and drai:-,age <br />thereof, <br />and making such other and further improvements in connection therewith as may be necessary and proper <br />to a properly paved street all in accordance with the plans and specifica- <br />tions to be prepared by the city engineer as hereinafter specified. <br />Section 2. That the costs of said improvement shall be assessed and be borne by the property adjacent <br />to said improvement, except street intersections whichwill be paid for by the city, and there shall be included <br />as a part of the costs thereof, the engineer's charges for his services thereon not to exceed five per cent <br />of the contract price therefor} and not to exceed 5n of the ~.dontract price to cover the cost <br />of i terest on warrants, advertising ~iosta e ands upplies for mailing notices of assessment. <br />~ection 3. That the city engineer is 1'iereby d~rected to make and prepare plans and specifications for <br />the said improvement as_provided in Section One of this Ordinance and file the same with the City Recorder. <br />Section 4.
