~- <br />~~r <br />~Q~ <br />II~IP'ROVEMEN~ ORDINANCE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 93~t7 <br />An Ordinance to improve the South side of Nineteenth Avem~e East between iNillamette <br />Stheet and Oak Street, by construction of concrete sidewalk and excluding the <br />existing walk. <br />THE CITY ~OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS <br />Section 1. That the Common Council .of the City of Eugene, Lane county, Oregon, does hereby declare <br />its intention to improve the South side of N ; neteenth Avenue East between JVillamette Street <br />and Oa.k Street, by c;]n~aruction of concrete sidetivalkand excluding the existing <br />wal ~c . <br />and making such other and further improvements in connection therewith as may be necessary and proper <br />to a properly all in accordance with the plans and specifica- <br />tions to be prepared by the city engineer as hereinafter specified. <br />Section 2. That the costs of said improvement shall be assessed and be borne by the property adjacent <br />to said improvement,~s ,and there shall be included <br />as a part of the costs thereof, tl~e entgi~eer's chadrg~s ~orfhi~he co £srac~ prise ~o c ov d ~vhepc os~nt <br />of the contract price therefor. an no o excee o <br />of interest ~n yvarrants, advertising, Hostage andsuoo7.ies for mailing notices of assessments. <br />Section 3. That the city engineer is hereby directed to make and prepare plans and specifications for <br />the said improvement as provided in Section One of this Ordinance and file the same with the City Recorder. <br />Section 4.
