IlVIP1~,OVElVIENT ®1~DI1\T1~1~TCE ORDINANCE NO. 9353 An Ordinance to improve Friendly Strut f ram Nineteenth Avenue to Twenty-fourth .Avenue in the City of Eugene, Oregon by i-nstallation of integral. curb concrete -paving, or asphaltic concrete paving with combination cuhb and gutter, and grading and drainage thereof , THE CITY .OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS Section 1. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Lane county Oregon does hereby declare its intention to improve Friendly Street from l~ineteenth Avenue to 'I;wenty-f;ourth Avenue in the City of Eugene, Oregon by installation of integral curb concrete paving, or asphaltic concrete paving with combination curb andgutter, end grading and drainage thereof, and making such other and further improvements in connection therewith as may be necessary and proper to a properly paved street all in accordance with the plans and specifica- tions to be prepared by the city engineer as hereinafter specified. Section 2. Section 4. WHEREAS, the improvement contemplated and provided for by this ordinance, is a necessary improvement, and the streets to be improved are in such a condition that their immediate improvement is essential to their safety, .it is, therefore, declared that an emergency exists and that it is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health- and safety, that this ordinance take effect at once, and it is ordered that this act shall take effect immediately upon its passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
