That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Lane county, Oregon, does hexeb declare <br />its intention to improve Onyx StrF:et from Franklin Boulevard to Thirteent i Avenue in ythe <br />City of Eugene, Oregon by iinstallation of integral curt concrete pavinn, or asphaltic <br />concrehe Having eith co~bination curb and butter, and griding and ~drainabP thereof, <br />and making such other and further improvements in connection therewith as .may be necessary .and proper <br />to a properly raved stxeet ~ all in accordance with the plans and specifica- <br />tions to be prepared by the city engineer as hereinafter specified. <br />Section 2. That the costs of said improvement shall be assessed and be borne by the property adjacent <br />to said improvement, except street intersections whichwiil be paid for by the city, and there shall be included <br />as a part of the costs thereof, the engineer's charges for his serv'ces tl~ reon not to exceed five per cent <br />~~ the co~tratct.~rtice th~ref~r and r.~t t~ exceed five nPr cen~ of „Phe . crn~ract r~~~cg to cover <br />. e cos o ~- eres o ~~rarran s, ver ising, nos£~ ge and s upp~ies or mat _in notices <br />of assessment. <br />Section 3. That the city engineer is hereby directed to make and prepare plans and specifications for <br />the said improvement as provided in Section One of this Ordinance and file the same with the City Recorder. <br />Section 4.
