That the Common Council of the City of F~ugene Lan cou~ty, Oregon, dos hereby de~are <br />its intention to improve Harris Street from ~~entynint to ~'hi.r ie Avenue ~n e City o <br />Eugene, .Oregon, key installation of integral curb concrete paving, or asnhal-tic <br />concrete paving with combination curt and gutter, and grading and drzinage thereof, <br />and making such other.and further improvements in connection therewith as may be necessary and proper <br />to a properly raved street - all in accordance with the plans and specifica- <br />tions to be prepared by the city engineer as hereinafter specified. <br />Section 2. That the costs of said improvement shall- be assessed and be borne.by the property adjacent <br />to said improvement, except street intersections whichwill be paid for by.the city, and there shall be included <br />as a part of the costs thereof, the engineer's charges for his services thereon not to exceed five per cent <br />of the contract price therefor nd not t~ ex~eed five. ~,er cent of. the Gon~ract -~~ice to cover <br />`tie cost o in erect on ltirarran~s, advertz.nirg, nos age and su-~-~:1_ied <br />for mailing Notices o.f assess:~erts. - <br />Section 3. That the city engineer is hereby directed to make and prepare plans and specifications for <br />the said improvement as provided in Section One of this Ordinance and file the same with the City Recorder. <br />Section 4.
