~~~i~~ <br />IMPROVEl~IEl®TT ®RDINANCE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 9 3 94 <br />An Ordinance to improve PEARL STREET FROM SEVENTEENTH AVENUE TO NINETEENTH AVENUE IN <br />THE CITY OF EUG.NE INCLUDING BRIDGE OVER AMAZON CREEK IN THE CITY OF EUGENE <br />OREGON BY INSTALLATION OF INTEGRAL CURB CONCRETE PAVING OR ASPHALTIC PAVING' <br />WITH COMBINATION CURB AND GUTTERS AND GRADING AND DRAINAGE THEREOF <br />THE- CITY.OF -EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS <br />Section 1. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Lane county, Oregon, does hereby declare <br />its intention to improve PEARL STREET FROM SEVENTEENTH AVENUE TO N IPJ[TEENTH AVENUE INCLUDING <br />. BRIDGE OVER .AMAZON CREEK IN THE CITY OF EUGENE dl~E GONE BY 1'NS7ALL.ATION OF <br />INTEGRAL CURB CONCRETE PAVING OR ASPHALTIC CONCRETE PAVING WITH COMBINATION <br />CURB AND GUTTERS AND GRADING AND DRAINAGE THEREOF <br />and making such other and further improvements in. connection therewith as may be necessary and proper <br />to a properly PAVED STREET all in accordance with the plans and specifica- <br />tions to be prepared by the city engineer as hereinafter specified. <br />Section 2. That'the costs of said improvement shall be assessed and be borne by the property adjacent <br />to said improvement, except street intersections whichwill be paid for by the city, and there shall be included <br />as a part.of the costs thereof, the en ineer's charges for his services thereon not to exceed five per cent <br />of the contract-price therefor. AND N0~ TO EXCEED FIVE PER CENT OF THE CONTRAC T PRICE TO <br />COVER THE COST OF INTEREST ON WARRANTS ADVERTIBING~ POSTAGE AND SUPPLIES FOR MAILING <br />NOT CES OF AS E S ENT. <br />~ection 3. T~ia~ tie ci~y engineer is hereby directed to make and prepare plans and specifications for <br />the said improvement as provided in Section One of this Ordinance and file the same with the City Recorder. <br />Section 4.
