AS FOLLOWS <br />Section 1. That the Common Council of the City of.Eugene, Lane county, Oregon, does hereby declare <br />its intention to improve NORTH SIDE OF EIGHTH AVENUE. P1EST FROM FILMORE STREET TOGRANT $TREET <br />IN THE CITY OF EUGENE; OREGON• BY ~Y'~/f"f~4~~~~Y'~ CONSTRUCTION OF A CONCRETE.SIDEWALK. <br />and making such other and further improvements in connection therewith as"may be necessary and proper <br />to a properly PAVED s 1 of wA L K all in accordance with the plans and specifica- <br />tions to be prepared by the city engineer as hereinafter specified. <br />Section 2. That the costs of said improvement shall be assessed and be borne by the property adjacent <br />to said improvement, ~~itc ~iK K>~~>~d~>l~ ~ip4~~1P1 ~X;~~~~ ~Pi~ ~~t~, and there shall be included <br />as a part of the costs thereof, the engineer's charges for his services thereon not to exceed five pCOVERnt <br />of the contract price thereforaND NOT TO EIRCEED Ft VE PER CENT OF THE CONTRACT PRIDE TO <br />THE COST OF INTEREST ON WARRANT~~ ADVERTISING POSTAGE AND SUPPLIES FOR MAILING NOTICES. <br />of ~ec~ionE~gNli'hat the city engineer is hereby directed to make and prepare plans and specifications for <br />the said improvement as provided in Section One of this Ordinance and file the same with the City Recorder. <br />Section 4.
