Upon ~'ritten application to the City Manager which application shall set ~~ <br />;, <br />forth the name amd address of the a?~pl.icant, make model, year, license number and motor number ~I <br />~I <br />of his specially constructed automobile the City Manager amy issue a special narking permit '~ <br />to any physically incapacf~tated~. war, veterans entitledto and usinga specially constructed ~i' <br />automobile. '~ <br />,1 <br />Section 2. The Hermit thus issued shall entitle the said veteran to nark such auto- i~ <br />i~ <br />mobile, free of charge and overtime in any parking meter space or overtime in any one or ~i <br />i <br />two hour narking zone during all hours when it is otherwise lawful to nark in said apace. ~+ <br />Section 3. Any veteran granted.. special narking privileges under the provisions of this ,~I <br />,~ <br />section and ordinance shall display.° a special narking meter permit and identificati:~n card to be! <br />jl <br />issued by the City of Eugene and in the manner prescribed on said card. 1'he special <br />~I <br />parking permit shall be used onl;r by the veteran r..ersonal ly and it sha' 1 be unlawful for the i~ <br />said card to be used on any automobile other than, the one for which it has been issued and ~' <br />• p <br />d <br />v+thich is identified on the said card by make, model., year license and motor numbers. It ~,~ <br />~~ <br />shall be the duty of the Traffic Divisi-n, Bureau of Police, to prepare and publish anch ' <br />.. .. <br />instructions as are deemed necessary to permittees granted a p ermit under the authority of I~ <br />this aection and such instructions, if published, shall be given to the permittee at the if <br />i. <br />time the special parking permit is issued. ~~ <br />I <br />ti~ectior. !~. All special parking permits issued b~~ authority of this Ordinance shall ex- '; <br />Aire on the last d.ay of the calendar year in which issued. <br />Section 5. The special parking permits shall be, disp~.ayed in-a prominent place in the <br />driver's camnartment of the automobile at any time the ',ermittee desires to take advantage <br />of theprovisions of the permit. In the event said hermit is not readily visable from the <br />outside of said automobile the permit shall be ineffective. <br />Section 6. Al]_ ordinances or pa. is of ordinances in confl..ict herewith are hereb~r <br />amended to conform to this ordinance. <br />Section 7.
