ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 57-16-05 of the Library, Recreation & Cultural Services Department City of Eugene, Oregon DELEGATING THE AUTHORITY TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS, EXPENDITURE AUTHORITY AND PURCHASE CARD REQUESTS WITHIN THE LIBRARY, RECREATION AND CULTURAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND REPEAL OF ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 57- 12-06. The Executive Director of the Library, Recreation & Cultural Services Department of the City of Eugene finds that: A. Under the provisions of Chapter IV, Section 16 of the Eugene Municipal Charter of 2002, the City Manager is designated as the administrative head of the City and authorized to make purchases and act as the business agent for the City Council in connection with the sale of real estate and other business and commercial transactions. B. The City Manager has delegated by Administrative Order (most recently by Administrative Order No. 21-13-03) the authority to execute contracts to the Assistant City Manager, and to the Executive Directors of City Departments. C. On August 28, 2012, I, as Executive Director of the Library, Recreation and Cultural Services Department (LRCS) issued Administrative Order No. 57-12-06 delegating contract authority to positions within LRCS. It is necessary to amend that Administrative Order to delegate contract authority to the position of Cultural Services Senior Marketing Manager as well. Now, therefore, The Executive Director of the Library, Recreation & Cultural Services Department of the City of Eugene Orders and Directs that: 1.
