<br />ORDINANCE NO. 20207 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE PENALTY FOR <br />COMMITTING THE CRIME OF PROSTITUTION AND <br />AMENDING SECTION 4.990 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971. <br /> <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Section 4.990 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is amended by adding the penalty for <br /> <br />violation of Section 4.745 in numerical order to the penalty table in Subsection (1) thereof as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />4.990 Penalties - Specific. <br />(1) Violation of the following sections is punishable by fine or confinement in <br />jail, or both, up to the amounts indicated opposite each: <br /> <br />Section <br />4.745 <br /> <br />Penalty <br />$1,000 fine or 100 days in jail, or both, for a <br />first offense; <br />$5,000 fine or one year in jail, or both for a <br />second or subsequent offense <br /> <br />Section 2. The City Recorder, at the request of, or with the concurrence of the City Attorney, <br /> <br />is authorized to administratively correct any reference errors contained herein or ion other provisions <br /> <br />of the Eugene Code, 1971, to the provisions added, amended or repealed herein. <br /> <br />Passed by the City Council this <br /> <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br /> <br /> <br />ay of August, 2000 <br /> <br />-~7t <br /> <br />City Recorder <br /> <br />
