<br />Government Boundary Commission dated October 24,2000; on September 26,2000, by Notice of
<br />the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated October 24,2000; on January 22,
<br />2001, by Final Order No. 1178 of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated
<br />December 7, 2000,
<br />
<br />all as hereinafter more particularly described.
<br />
<br />The Resolution set February 12,2001, at 7:30 P.M., Pacific Time, in the Council Chambers,
<br />City Hall, in Eugene, Oregon, as the time and place for hearing objections to the withdrawals, and
<br />directed that notice of the time and place of the hearing be published once each week for two
<br />consecutive weeks prior to the hearing and be posted in four public places in the City for the same
<br />period. The Notice has been so published in the Register Guard and posted in four public places in
<br />the City of Eugene, Oregon.

<br />However, due to an error in the original published Notice, at the time previously scheduled,
<br />the hearing was continued to February 26, 2001. An Amended Notice of Hearing has been published
<br />once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the hearing and posted in four public places in
<br />the City for the same period, advising that the hearing was rescheduled for February 26, 2001, at 7 :30
<br />p.m., Pacific Time, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, Oregon.
<br />
<br />The City is willing to assume the liabilities and indebtedness previously contracted by the
<br />Districts proportionate to the parts of the Districts that have been annexed to the City upon the
<br />effective date of the withdrawals.
<br />
<br />The withdrawals of the annexed territories from the Districts are consistent with the
<br />fundamental principles and applicable policies of the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area General
<br />Plan, and other adopted City policies, and it is in the best interest of the City that the territories be
<br />withdrawn.

<br />NOW, THEREFORE,

<br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

<br />Section 1. The territory in Lane County, Oregon, annexed to the City of Eugene on June 12,
<br />2000, by Notice of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated August 23,
<br />2000, as bounded and described as follows:

<br />Tax Lot 106, Assessor's Map 17-04-23-11, located in the River Road
<br />region of north Eugene, west of River Road, north ofHom Lane, east
<br />of Anderson Lane, south of Manzana Street, and more particularly
<br />described on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by
