PUBLIC HEARING and POSSIBLE ACTION: <br /> <br /> An Ordinance Concerning Regulation of Payday Loans and Adding <br /> Sections 3.550 through 3.560 to the Eugene Code, 1971; and Providing an <br /> Effective Date <br /> <br /> Manager: <br /> Introduces topic, presents background information. <br /> Mayor opens the public hearing: <br /> Those wishing to speak during the Public <br />Hearing must submit a completed “Request to Speak” form to the information <br />desk, prior to the beginning of the Public Hearing. When you come to the <br />podium to speak, please give your name and address; you will have three <br /> minutes to comment. There are lights on the podium; the yellow light indicates <br />you have 15 seconds to complete your comments. The red light indicates the <br />end of three minutes. <br /> <br />Mayor: <br /> Closes the public hearing. <br /> Mayor: <br /> Asks for questions or comments from the City Council. <br /> <br /> Mayor: <br /> Does any councilor object to taking action tonight? <br /> <br /> If yes: Schedule action for a future meeting. <br /> <br /> <br /> If no: <br /> City Council President: <br />I move that the City Council adopt Council Bill 4929, <br />an ordinance concerning regulation of payday loans. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote <br /> <br /> <br />4.ACTION: <br /> Transfer of Water Pollution Control Facility Property from the City of <br /> Eugene to the Metropolitan Wastewater Management Commission <br /> <br /> City Council President: <br />I move to direct the City Manager to take the necessary <br /> steps to proceed with the transfer of approximately 95.56 acres of City owned land <br /> to the Metropolitan Wastewater Management Commission, contingent upon <br /> MWMC’s agreement to convey to the City the right-of-way needed to complete the <br /> improvements abutting the MWMC site on River Avenue. <br /> <br /> Roll Call Vote <br /> <br /> <br />5.ACTION: <br /> An Ordinance Concerning Condominiums; Amending Section 2.1060, <br /> 2.1064, 2.1070, and 2.0174 of the Eugene Code, 1971; and Declaring an <br /> Immediate Effective Date <br /> <br /> City Council President: <br />I move that the City Council adopt Council Bill 4928, <br /> an ordinance concerning condominiums. <br /> <br /> Roll Call Vote <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Adjourn. <br /> <br />Eugene City Council Agenda: July 10, 2006 L:\CMO\2006 Council Agendas\M060710\A060710Sa.doc <br /> <br />
