In light of these facts, especially the <br />busy arterial roadseparating the Looking Glass from GlassRoots, there are physicalor <br />geographic barriers that will limit children from traversing between the two establishments. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. <br />The findings set forth above are adoptedin support of this Ordinance. <br />Section 2. <br />A physical or geographic barrier capable of limiting childrenfrom traversing <br />directly between GlassRoots and Looking Glass existsas described in the above findings. <br />Section 3 <br />.Upon OLCC’s issuance of a license to GlassRoots as a recreational <br />marijuana retail facility, GlassRoots may operate as a recreational marijuana retail facility at980 <br />th <br />W5Avenue, Eugene, Oregon. <br />Section 4. <br />Pursuant to the provisions of Section 32(2) of the Eugene Charter of 2002, <br />with the affirmativevote of two-thirds of the members of the City Council, upon adoption by the <br />Council and approval by the Mayor, or passage over the Mayor’s veto, this Ordinance shall <br />become effective immediately.
