Its purpose is to encourage <br />the reuse of underutilized sites and to increase the productivity of already developed sites. The <br />remediation criteria awards points to businesses that have taken steps to address on-site <br />contamination. <br />The exempted investment is either <br />Expansion of the current site, OR <br />5 points <br />Redevelopment of a brownfield, OR <br />Redevelopment of vacant building(s) <br /> <br />The company remediated environmental contamination during the <br />1 point <br />investment.* <br />*Business will be asked to provide additional information for points claimed <br />7. Health Insurance <br /> <br />This category awards points to companies who offer more healthcare coverage than is required by <br />law. As of January 2017, businesses with 50 or more employees are required to offer healthcare <br />coverage to their employees. <br />For businesses with fewer than 50 employees: <br />2 points <br />Offer medical benefits for all eligible employees (employer pays at least 70% <br /> <br />of premium) <br />For all businesses: <br />3 points <br /> <br />Offers medical benefits for families (employer pays at least 60% of premium) <br />8.
