<br />resolution approved on September 20, 2000, which states, in part: <br /> <br />"LTD is committed to converting its fleet to quiet, more <br />environmentally-friendly vehicles, with the conversion triggered by <br />the cost, availability, and reliability of the new technology. " <br /> <br />6. Provide a commitment by both the City and L TD that the great majority of <br />BR T corridor service within Eugene will feature exclusive busways to provide adequate <br />performance and to attract customers (the goal would be at least 80% exclusive busways); <br /> <br />7. Include such other provisions, terms and conditions as the City Manager <br />deems necessary or convenient to the public welfare and interests of the City of Eugene; and <br /> <br />8. Include a best effort commitment by Eugene and L TD to the current schedule <br />for the pilot project and first extension of the pilot corridor in Eugene. <br /> <br />Section 3.
