3 <br />~ay ~5~ 2004 <br /> <br />The 3rd and final workshop for the Amazon Park p~ann~n9 process was held on Tuesday, May <br />25th at the AmaZon community Center. The Purpbse of {~ event was to Share the dra~ <br />conCept design and prioritized improvement pia~ w~th the public, and a~low additional input on <br />the pr0posal~. <br /> <br />An open house format allowed paAicipants to review the proposals and take a self-guided tour <br />thr°~gh the park of the proposed improvements. Approximately 50 individuals pa~iCipated in <br />the e~ent. T~© different plans were Bispiayed: <br />~ the Concept Design ~or the park, s~°~ ng overall goals and improvements for the park, and <br /> the Pdodt~ Impro~ement Pi~n, Which [de~tifies projects that ar~ earmarked for av~i~abie <br /> fUnding. <br /> <br />Comments o~ both these plans were accepted through June 21st, 2004.
