<br />REVISED REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION <br />of the <br />Director of the Planning & Development Department <br /> <br />Arthur C. Carmichael, Jr. Application for <br />Multiple-Unit Property Tax Exemption <br /> <br />The Director of the Planning & Development Department of the City of Eugene <br />finds that: <br /> <br />On December 4,1995 Council approved Resolution No. 4472, granting a property tax exemption <br />to Arthur C. Carmichael, Jr. for a project to be constructed at 14th Avenue and Hilyard Street. <br />The Report and Recommendation and the Resolution contained an error. The error was found in <br />Section 2.2.1 of the Report and Recommendation. Section 2.2.1 stated: ( Six units to be <br />completely "Wheel Chair Accessible"; All units are adaptable to ADA standards) <br /> <br />Section 2.2.1 of the Report and Recommendation shall be corrected to read: ( The exterior will <br />be designed to include front and rear entry ramps, and wide hallways, corridors and <br />walkways on all levels. The elevator will also have sufficient accommodations. There will <br />be three (3) units, two-2 bedrooms, and one-l bedroom, on the main floor that will be ADA <br />"accessible" immediately upon completion of the project. There will be three (3) units, <br />two-2 bedrooms, and one-l bedroom, on the main floor that will be "adaptable" to ADA <br />"accessible". The developer will consult with the appropriate agency at the time of <br />conversion from ADA "adaptable" to ADA "accessible". <br /> <br />This will provide a possible 6 ADA "accessible" units out of 53, or approximately 11 % of <br />the total units constructed. <br /> <br />With this correction, ADA standards have been met, as well as all other requirements and criteria <br />set forth in the City's adopted Standards and Guidelines for Multiple-Unit Rental Housing <br />Property Tax Exemption. <br /> <br />Dated the _ day of <br /> <br />, 1996 <br /> <br />Director, Planning & Development <br />Department, City of Eugene <br />
