making, the participants were divided into groups that evalu- <br />ated six public spaces: the two Park Blocks, the Farmers Market <br />site and Wayne Morse Free Speech Plaza, the Hult Center plaza, <br />Kesey Square and the street corners at 10th Avenue and Olive <br />Street near the Eugene Public Library. Participants then brain- <br />stormed their ideas for each site and reported back to the ple- <br />nary group. <br />8.SURVEY ABOUT THE DOWNTOWN <br />PPS received 1,927 responses to a survey about the downtown <br />that was conducted between October 11 and November 18, <br />2016. The survey asked about general impressions of the down- <br />large number of open-ended comments were received. Survey <br />responses are described in the Appendices. <br />9.RIVERFRONT WORKSHOP <br />A stakeholder workshop/discussion was held on October 14, <br />2016 at the Northwest Community Credit Union on 8th Avenue <br />to discuss the proposed riverfront plan for the EWEB property <br />and its public spaces. PPS presented basic waterfront principles <br />and helped to facilitate a discussion.
