CITY OF EUGENE <br /> <br />f~ay 16, 2006, Primary Election <br />Candidate Application Packet <br />for <br />Eugene City Counci~ and <br />Eugene Water & Electric Board <br /> <br />Beginning March 27, 2005, applications are being accepted for the positions of Eugene City <br />Co~JnCilor and Eugene Water and Electric Board (EWEB). These positions wil be voted on in the <br />May 16, 2006 Primary Election, <br /> <br />Please Note: <br />The I~ay primary election is a qualifying election. If a candidate wins more than 50% of the total <br />vote for that position, only that candidate's name will be placed on the November ?, 2008 general <br />election ballot for the final election. If no candidate receives more than 50% of the vote, the names <br />of the two candidates receiving the most votes will be placed on the November ballot. <br />The Eugene City Recorder is the Elections Filing Officer for the City of Eugene and Eugene Water <br />and Electric Board elections. All forms must be filed with the City Recorder's Office, 777 Pearl St. <br />Room 105, Eugene, OR 97401, (541) 682-5042.
