<br />Concept and Materials <br /> <br /> <br />TH E PI LLARS <br />The American recipient pillars are placed at intervals <br />along the Peace Path's eastern edge. The pillar itself is <br />backed by an arc of stacked basalt with a corten steel <br />facade. An arced steel fin runs perpendicular to this <br />surface providing two separate viewing areas and room <br />for two prize recipients per pillar.
