place we can see how few people are using them, a negligible amount of bicyclists. <br />Without the two additional traffic lanes, driving down Willamette St has become <br />increasingly problematic. It is now impossible to exit a business parking lot to re-enter <br />the street, it was once a non-issue with the two lanes on both sides. Many people <br />really hate the change that has been made to Willamette St. Chris Henry has not <br />been running proper traffic study analysis on the surrounding streets, he <br />seems happy to just call it good as is and move on. This is not a proper or acceptable <br />study at all and many of the residents in the area are quite aware of this. Please do <br />your jobs and collect data to show what is actually going on, include W 29th Ave <br />which has become the alternate route. The traffic is visibly worse and there is no <br />enforcement to discourage bad driving. Also, changes are being made for people <br />with wishful, "fantasy" thinking that everyone will ride a bicycle or take the bus, but <br />people are not adapting to these changes so the traffic continues to become worse. <br />Please recognize this reality and that cars are becoming cleaner, more energy <br />Do not downgrade the street rating to a Level of Service “E” <br />efficient. . Work on <br />ticketing bad drivers to reduce bad conduct. Lack of enforcement by the Police <br />department is a big issue and needs to be addressed. It is the city’s responsibility to <br />ensure safety and enforcement of existing laws. <br />Please abide by the Envision Eugene pillar, "Protect, Repair and Enhance <br />Neighborhood Livability."
