Willamette Street <br />Project Description: This project consisted of rehabilitation of this street in the Downtown <br />Neighborhood Association neighborhood in Council Ward 1: <br />• Willamette Street from 13th Avenue to 10th Avenue <br />Treatment Methodology: <br />• Willamette Street was reconstructed by removing the existing pavement, building an 18 <br />inch aggregate working platform wrapped in subgrade geotextile fabric, and repaving with <br />11 inches of asphalt. <br />Costs: Total project costs, from all funding sources, are estimated at $580,000. <br />Preliminary Estimate based on Pavement <br />Management System (PMS) Surface Evaluation = $613,000 <br />Total Projected/Actual Bond Funds Used = $434,000 <br />Difference = $179,000 <br />The total amount of bond funds used for bicycle and pedestrian improvements on this project <br />were approximately $71,000. <br />Additional Sources of Funding: Stormwater utility funds, LTD funds and private funds from the <br />Capstone development. <br />Project Photo: <br />Completed Paving Willamette Street <br />
