The Lane Workforce Partnership has recruited <br />Diane Wiley, Director of the Riverfront Research Park; and Brian Patch, Functional Excellence Lead at <br />Invitrogen to fill the vacancies. The board also requests reappointment of Jerry Stiltner, Business <br />Manager of Personnel Source, Inc. <br /> <br />Enclosed isMs. Wiley's and Mr. Patch's completed Application/or Appointment to Citizen Advisory <br />Boards and Commissions. Also enclosed is a letter from the Eugene Chamber of Commerce nominating <br />Ms. Wiley, Mr. Patch, and Mr. Stiltner to the Lane Workforce Partnership board of directors. <br /> <br />The Workforce Investment Act of 1998 requires that local workforce investment boards, i.e., the Lane <br />;' Workforce Partnership board of directors, be comprised of a majority from business.
