CITIZEN PLANNING COMMITTEE WHILAMUT NATURAL AREA OF ALTON BAKER PARK CURRENT MEMBERS DESCRIPTION The East Alton Baker Park Planning Committee was created to prepare a plan to determine the appropriate mix of passive recreational uses for the Park. The Committee is now implementing that adopted plan. MEMBERSHIP The Committee is composed of 15 at-large citizen positions, ten from Eugene, and five from Springfield. TERM Members serve three year terms. APPOINTMENT The Mayor nominates candidates; the city council appoints from the mayor's list.
