MPC 4.e – Attachment 5 – STP-U Programming Timeline Page 1 of 1 <br />ATTACHMENT 5 <br />FY07 (AND FUTURE YEAR) STP-U PROGRAMMING TIMELINE <br />The draft STP-U programming schedule below shows not only the anticipated schedule <br />for the next funding cycle (FY08-09), but also indicates the amount of time, in months, <br />that this and future funding processes would take. <br />June 2006 Program FY07 planning funds <br />July 2006 Approve evaluation process for programming Modernization, Preservation <br />and Project Development (MPPD) for FY08-09 and beyond <br />August 2006 Discuss regional priorities for STP-U programming cycle <br />(Month 1) <br />Sept. 2006 Agree on regional priorities for STP-U programming cycle <br />(Month 2) <br />Oct. 2006 Solicit MPPD funding applications for FY08 and FY09 <br />(Month 3) <br />Nov. 2006 Review applications with TPC & CAC; conduct outreach to <br />(Month 4) solicit public comment <br />Dec. 2006 TPC and CAC develop draft recommendation(s) for FY08-09 MPPD <br />(Month 6) STP-U funding <br />Jan. 2007 MPC programs FY08-09 MPPD STP-U funds <br />(Month 7) <br />The 2006 process would program STP-U funds for MPPD activities in FY08 and FY09. <br />It is anticipated that future STP-U funding cycles would program 3 or 4 years at a time. <br />LCOG: T:\MPO\COMMITTEES\MPC\FY07\JUL 06\MPC4.E-ATTACHMENT5-STP-UPROGRAMMINGTIMELINE.DOC <br />Last Saved: July 5, 2006 <br />
