The Judiciary Committee presented a taxi Ordinance which was discussed and passed as hereinbelow set out. Street Committee; The Street Committee stated 1111'S l'vloxley complains her'walk at 1231 Olive St was ruined by House mover Lamners in moving a house across it some two years ago and she wishes redress from some source. The matter was referred to the City Attorney and he reported he has had the matter in hand and that collection from Lammers is impossible, The 1~yor suggested no more moving permits be issued Lammers till this claim is adjusted by him. The matter of house-mover cutting limbs from trees along the parking when moving houses was also discussed and the 11ayor directed the Recorder to notify the Inspector of Buildings to see the Ordinance is obeyed.
