A. ___._ _ <br /> <br />'-~-, <br />~,.1'O' <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Chambers, Eugene, Oregon. <br />April 23, 1928. <br /> <br />;~'.~: <br />.~~ <br />li.) <br /> <br />Minutes of the adjourned meeting of the Common CODBCil held at 7;30 olclock <br />P.M. on April 23, 1928, there being present Mayor A L Williamson and all members <br />of the Council, e:ccept Washburne and Rugl1, vvho were absent. Meeting called to <br />order by the Mayor. <br /> <br />J 1,,[ Moore appeared and stated he has erected an up-to-date slaughter house, <br />meeting all ~overnment, State, and City regulations and stated he is willing to <br />do the slau~htGring for the whole city and asked the City furnish him an Inspector <br />for lIondays, Wednesdays and Fr'ida~{s of each week. A letter was also read from <br />~ H Lytle, State isterinarian, as to meat inspection, and the same discussed. <br /> <br />As per the call, bids were received for the construction of a Storm Sewer on <br />tbre South side of 13th Avenue from Moss Street to the alley East of Moss Street, <br />'as follows: <br /> <br />Oscar Snow $313.40 <br />Stien Bros 326.25 <br />Hargreaves and Lindsay 684.85 <br /> <br />Such bids were referred to the Sewer Committee for report -and it recommended the <br />bid of Oscar Snow at ,r313.40. On motion such recommendation vvas adopted and the <br />~fuyor and Recorder were instructed to enter into a contract with such successful <br />bidder for such contract work. <br /> <br />As per the call for bids, the following bids were received for sidewalk <br />construction: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Ord.
