P <br /> . >rf ,<. <br /> An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 6780, entitled "An Ordinance providing ~'lf::" <br /> for the making of an exclusi ve f ranchi se for the hauling of garbage, ru bbish and <br /> refuse, in the City of Eugene with Bray Bros., and providing that no other pers04, <br /> firm 'or corporation Shall be permitted a license to haul garbage, rubbish and <br /> refuse for hire upon the Street s of the City of' Eugene,-" passedb y the Common <br /> Council and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1928, and amending Section 4 of said <br /> Ordinance by adding the words "Any person, firm or corporation hauling garbage <br /> refuse or rub b ish not produoed by himself, shall be deeme d to be hauling:.fbr hire. <br /> No Garbage. from tlB Ci ty of Eugene shall be placed elsewhere than at the ~arbage <br /> depository provided-by the Contractor herein". and providing for an emergency, <br /> was read the first time and passed its second and third readi~gs by title by <br /> unanimous consent under suspension of the rule- and was placed on its final passage. <br /> The ~es and nays were called, all present voting aye, absent and not voting, Rugh <br /> and Monroe.
