An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 6780, entitled "An Ordinance providing ~'lf::" for the making of an exclusi ve f ranchi se for the hauling of garbage, ru bbish and refuse, in the City of Eugene with Bray Bros., and providing that no other pers04, firm 'or corporation Shall be permitted a license to haul garbage, rubbish and refuse for hire upon the Street s of the City of' Eugene,-" passedb y the Common Council and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1928, and amending Section 4 of said Ordinance by adding the words "Any person, firm or corporation hauling garbage refuse or rub b ish not produoed by himself, shall be deeme d to be hauling:.fbr hire. No Garbage. from tlB Ci ty of Eugene shall be placed elsewhere than at the ~arbage depository provided-by the Contractor herein". and providing for an emergency, was read the first time and passed its second and third readi~gs by title by unanimous consent under suspension of the rule- and was placed on its final passage.
