Councilman voting aye, Large, nay, Lamb, Hender- <br />shott, Reid, S.Lmon, Zumwal t, Bond, and Edwards.. <br /> <br />It appearing that the 'ran Cab Companies have done nothing to relieve the <br />parking situation, and it was the consensus of opinion unless they had made sat- <br />isfactory arrangements before the next council meeting that, an ordinance should be <br />passed removing them from Willamet te Stree t parking. <br /> <br />The 'Heal th, COl!llui ttee was instructed to recpmmend to Inspector Lawrence that <br />he establish regular office hours on Tuesday and Saturday, so that ~e would be <br />accessible to '/jhe people having business in his office. <br /> <br />At this time Mayor Wilder appeared in Counc iI, and P re sid~nt Large turned <br />over the gavel and resumed his seat in Council. <br /> <br />Report of C. D. Thomas, @hief Inspector from the l1ureau of Labor of the <br />State of Oregon, was read. It ~lso a'ppeared that Mr. Stokes of the State Fire <br />Warden's Office had made an inspection of the building, but he had to retire from <br />the Council meeting on account of illness. Mr. Rundlett reported that Mr. Stokes' <br />opinion in general coincided with that of Mr. Thomas. After some discussion of <br />the condi tion of the building, it was ordered that Hunzicker and 8mi th, Archi tects <br />be employed to get out plans, and that the City advertise for bids for repairing <br />the City Hall in accordance with these plans and for reshingling the building~ <br /> <br />On motion Council adjourned. to meet at 7:30 o'clock P.
