<br />r 1-24 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />-_ _uuc_ -:::4= <br /> <br />~, <br />(~. <br />~, <br /> <br />The Street Gommittee,by Chairman Lamb, reported in regard to the Gurb <br />and sidewalk at the filling sitation at 8th and Cha.rnelton Streets, and as the Oil <br />Company has a lease to run two more years, it was decided that no acti on would be <br />taken at thi s time in regard to the walk. <br /> <br />Counci lman Lamb al so spoke in regard to the intersec t ion at 8 th and Hi"gh <br />Streets and suggested that the radius of the curb be changed there on account of <br />the heavy traffic at tha t corne r. Mr. Clubb stated that the probable cost of <br />this would be $100.00, and a motion was made, seconded, and carried that the Stree <br />Department make this improvement under the direction of the Ci ty Engineer. <br /> <br />City E!ngineer Clubb ~poke in regards to a cement mixer for the Street De- <br />partment and citated that they had investigated a second-hand mixer that Peter <br />Nelson desired to dispose of, and a motion was made, seconded, and carried that <br />the Street Department purchase this mixer from Mr. Nelson for the sum of $100.00. <br /> <br />Mayor Large reported that a committee had asked him to present the matter <br />of a clean~up week to the city conncil, but no action was taken in the matter. <br /> <br />Mayor Large 'also stated t,hat the Board of Heal th, in order to cooperate <br />with the City, d,esired that one of the Councilman be appointed to their board, <br />and on motion Mr. Zum1tval t was appointed as a member of the Board of ,Health. <br />I , <br />, , <br /> <br />t <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The following sidewalk bids for the const.ru.ction 0:( a cement sidewalk in <br />front of the City Hall, at this time, were reported back bir the Street Committee <br />with the recommendation that the bid of Oscar Snow for $59..15 be accepted.
