Council was called to order by Mayor Elisha <br />Large with all Counci~nen present, except Jones. <br /> <br />Minutes of the regular meeting of March 14th, 1932, and of the adjourned <br />meeting of March 28th, 1932, were read and approved. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />Chambers Cotmcil, Eugene, Oregon, <br />April 11, 1932. <br /> <br />'...... <br />t~ <br />~:l <br /> <br />~',-l..~. <br /> <br />Mr. Joseph Sapp again complained before the Council of the condition of <br />the alley and premi ses adj acent. to the Sawdust Yard oi' the Central Heating Company <br />at First Avenue between Lincoln and Lawrence Streets. Councilman Zumwalt moved <br />that the City Attorney instruct the Central Heating Co. to clear the alley. <br />Motion was seconded and carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Chas. Fowler again appeared before the Council and offered to sell <br />his stop street device. After some discussion, Councilman Lrunb moved that the <br />City purchase one strip, to be installed by lira Fowler on the South side of 6th <br />Avenue at Olive Street at a cost of $1.50 per foot. illotion was secol~ed and <br />carried. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Finance COiJ.1iTIittee, by Chairman Hendershott, reported the following <br />bills for payment mld recommended that they be paid.
