'.j <br />, c Large, with all Councilmen prese nt except Simon. <br /> <br />~ ~ - - ~ <br />- - Minutes of the regular meeting oaf July Ilt.h, 1932, and of the adjourned <br />emeeting of July 27th, 1932, were read and apprDved. <br /> <br />. l\~. Harlan, Secretary of the Chamher of Commerce, and Mr. A. L. William- <br />son appeared before the Council urging that the City take steps to acquire funds <br />from the Reconstruction Finance Corporation for use in public work to provide <br />for unemployment, and also urged the Council to list the unemployed of the City. <br />On motion duly seconded and carried it was ordered that the Recorder proceed to <br />make a list of the unemployed permanent residents of the City of Eugene. ~ <br /> <br />~ Councilman Hendershott of the Finance Commi ttee reported the following <br />. bills to the Council wi th the recommendation that they be allowed, and motion <br />was made and seconded that warrants be drawn for the same.
