Park Board reported that it had unanimously authorized the Business and <br /> Profes~ional Women's Club to move the present play ground equipment to a more <br /> suitable location in the City Park, and that the Secre$ary , Mrs. Helen Kerr <br /> Maxham, had been appointed as a contact membe.r between the Park Board and the <br /> Women's Club, and that projects submitted by them would be referred to he.r for <br /> endorsement before being put into effect; also that the Park Board recommended <br /> that the name "Skimier's Butte Park" be definitely established as the official <br /> title of the North slope of Skinner's Butte. A motion was made, seconded and <br /> I ca.rried to approve the action of the Park Board. <br /> . <br /> An Ordinance to prevent disturbances interfering wi th the hours of rest <br /> between ten o'clock P.M. and six o'clock A.M., in the City of Eugene, passed its <br /> second and third readings under suspension of the rule by a unanimous consent of <br /> the Council, and was placed upon its final passage. The ayes and nays were called, <br /> Councilmen voting aye 7, nay, none, absent,Reid. The Ordinance was declared <br /> passed. and numbered 8362. <br /> The question of Garbage' haulers increasing their price for garbage hauling <br /> was complained of, and said to be in violation of the City Ordinance. <br /> Councilman Hendershott stated that he had been receiving many complaints about <br /> the inadequacy of the telephone service in the Ci-ty. The matter was referred to <br /> the Judiciary Committee and City Attorney. <br /> On motion the Council adjourned to meet at 7:30 o'clock P.M., October 23rd, <br /> 1933. \ <br /> I The Recorder called the attention of the Council to a Summons in Foreclosure <br /> of Delinquent ~ax Certificate.
