I tv (-I,;;) Minutes of the regular monthly meeting of the Common Council, held at the hour '~.D of 7:30 o'clock P.M., December 11,1933. Council was called' to order by Mayor .. ~ Large, with" all Councilmen present except Reid. < Minutes of the regular meeting of November 13th, 1933, Special meeting of November 21st, 1933, and the adjourned meeting of November 27th, 1933, were read and approved. < Attorney Gordon Wells stated that his client, operating a lodging house on the upper fioor of the Koke Building, had been advised by the Chief of Police of a proposed revocation of his license. The Attorney re~uested, and was assured, an opportunity to be heard before the Police Committee before any action will be taken . Two parties applied to the Council for permission to conduct a uBeanoll game. The Police Committee recommended that the re<1uest be denied, and on motion the of Council, it. was so ordered. The Finance COfl~ittee reported that the Banks had discontinued.a service charg against the' Ci ty at the same time they ceased to pay interest on daily balances. Chairman Hendershott of the Finance Committee'reported the following bills to the Council with a recommendation that they be allowed, and motion was made, seconded anti carried that warrants be drawn for same.
