Council was called' to order by Mayor .. ~ <br /> Large, with" all Councilmen present except Reid. <br /> < <br /> Minutes of the regular meeting of November 13th, 1933, Special meeting of <br /> November 21st, 1933, and the adjourned meeting of November 27th, 1933, were read <br /> and approved. <br /> < <br /> Attorney Gordon Wells stated that his client, operating a lodging house on <br /> the upper fioor of the Koke Building, had been advised by the Chief of Police of a <br /> proposed revocation of his license. The Attorney re~uested, and was assured, an <br /> opportunity to be heard before the Police Committee before any action will be taken <br /> . Two parties applied to the Council for permission to conduct a uBeanoll game. <br /> The Police Committee recommended that the re<1uest be denied, and on motion the of <br /> Council, it. was so ordered. <br /> The Finance COfl~ittee reported that the Banks had discontinued.a service charg <br /> against the' Ci ty at the same time they ceased to pay interest on daily balances. <br /> Chairman Hendershott of the Finance Committee'reported the following bills <br /> to the Council with a recommendation that they be allowed, and motion was made, <br /> seconded anti carried that warrants be drawn for same.
