On motion the act of the Finance Committee was approved. I Reports of the City Engineer, Police Depabtment and Fire Department were read and placed on file. A proposed ordinance relating to the Ci ty Fire Department giving fi 1'6 protect- ion to territory outside the City limits, presented with the view to giving the outside residentjs a better insurance rate, vvas laid over for consideration. An Ordinance transferring ~6,500.00 from the Emergency Fund to the Sewer Fund, .. and directing the issuance of warrants therefI'om in payment upon the reconstI'uction of cel'tain t.runk seweI' sections of the City Sewer system, was read the first time, c; .and passed its second and third l~eadings by title undel> suspension of the .rule by unaniit'lous consent of the C ounci 1, and was placed upon its final passage.
