<br />45 and 48, due May 15, 1936 at a price of 99 and accrued interest. This ~ction,
<br />on motion, was approved by the Council.

<br />A deed from Mrs. Lottie H. Rugh to the ,City covering Lots 4 and 5, Block 25,
<br />College Hill Park, subject to taxes and municipal assessments, was on motion accepted
<br />and the Recorder instructed to pay the delin~uent taxes and record the Deed.

<br />Reports of Fire Chief, Chief of Police, City Attorney and Chairman of the
<br />Health COIMlittee, alleging that buildings on the premises at 1601 Orchard Street,
<br />consistinf, of a box house, a frame barn ill1d a woodshed are in an extreme state of
<br />delapidation, were read, and the following Resolution was presented and a motion
<br />made, seconded and carried to adopt the same.

<br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Common Council of the

<br />City of ~~gene, reports from the Chief of Police, the City Attorney, the

<br />Chairman of the Health Department and the Chief of the Fire De9artment,

<br />each and all denouncing the buildings on that ce~tain premises desienated
<br />
<br />at 1601 Orchard Street, in Eugene, Oregon, as dangerous buildings as

<br />That a public hearing is hereby called to be held in the

<br />office of the City Recorder in the City Hall in the City of Eu@ene at

<br />7:30 olclock P. M. on Monday, June 11, 1934, at which time and place
<br />
<br />all persons interested will be heard upon the ~uestion as to whether
<br />or not the bD.ildines located at 1601 Orchard Street in Fairmount
<br />
<br />Addition to ~ugene, Orefon, is dan[erous under the provisions of Ord.
<br />
<br />No. 8292, and as a part. of said hea~inG the Common Council itself

<br />shall inspect said buildings and such inspection shall be considered
