Zumwalt. <br /> I.Iinutes of the ~egula~ meetirlg of August 13th, and the adjourned meeting <br /> of August 27th, 1934 wer~ .~ead and ~pproved. <br /> The Pa~ks Imp~ovement Committee of the Chambe~ of Commerce, by Mr. Cully, <br /> presented a request to the City Council that it take steps to guarantee that if <br /> the public squares were imp~oved for city parks they would be protected against <br /> assemblies, ca~nivals, and other set-ups that would dest~oy the work. Hotion <br /> was made, see onded andca~ ri ed that if the Ci ty i,"'la t er 130ard fUl"ni shes the water <br /> for the up-keep of these parks, the City will protect the improvements against <br />." any uses that tend to destroy the value and uses as parks. <br /> Councilman Hendershott, Chairman of the Finance Co~nittee, reported the <br /> following bills to the Council wi th a recoGl1nendation that they be allowed, and <br /> motion was made, seconded and carried that warrants be dra\ivu fo~ same.
