The Pa~ks Imp~ovement Committee of the Chambe~ of Commerce, by Mr. Cully, presented a request to the City Council that it take steps to guarantee that if the public squares were imp~oved for city parks they would be protected against assemblies, ca~nivals, and other set-ups that would dest~oy the work.
