"1,: <br /> Minutes of the adjourned meeting of the Common Council held at the <br /> hour of 8:00 ,o'clock P. M., October 25, 1934. Council was called to order <br /> by Mayor Large, wi th all Councilmen present except Mr. Edwards. <br /> Prior to the meeting of the Council, pursuant to notice thereof, a <br /> meeting of the Budget Committee and Taxpayers of the City of Eugene was <br /> held, at which meeting were present Martin Svarverud, Mr. Wilhelm, and <br /> George Schaefers, who were heard to make objection to some of the items <br /> in the budget , after which a motion was made, seconded and carried that <br /> .: the budget be approved as submitted by the Budget Committee. <br /> Mayor Large called ~he Council to order at 8:00 o'clock p. M. <br /> pursuant to the adj ournment of Oct ober 22nd, and an Ordinance levying <br /> the Annual Tax Levy for the City of Eugene, for,the Fiscal Year of 1935 <br />I was read the first time and passed its second and third readings by title <br /> under suspension of the rule by the unanimous consent of the Council, and <br />~ was placed upon its final passage. The ayes and nays were called, Council- <br /> men voting aye 7, nay none, absent Edwards. The Ordinance was declared <br /> passed and numbered 8396. <br /> On motion the Council adjourned. <br /> Rl S.
