<br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the Ci ty of ::
<br />Eugene that there shall.be added to the lease now
<br />held by the United Airlines T~ansport Corporation,
<br />a Delaware corporation, an area one hundred (100)
<br />feet square, having for its center a radio trans-
<br />mitter pole located as follow~:

<br />Commencing at the quarter. section corner
<br />between Sections 36, Township 17 South
<br />Range 4 West, and Section 1, Township 18
<br />South Range 4 West, running thence South
<br />., 1159 feet, and thence East 57 feet
<br />
<br />/ and the Mayor and Recorder be. and they are hereby
<br />7 authorized to ratify the same.

<br />Letter, offering bid for bonds held by the city, from Ferris & Hardgrove,
<br />was presented with bids as follows:

<br />On motion made by Councilman Hendershott. and seconded by Harris, the City Recorder
<br />I was instructed to advertise the bonds that t~e city wished to dispose of and to
<br />notify the various bonding companies so that bids would be received in the office
<br />~ of the City Recorder by ~ednesday, November 25, 1936, with the city reserving the
<br />8 right to reject or accept any or all bids; this motion was carried.
<br />
<br />Judiciary Committee, by ChairIT.an Harris, recommended that the request of
<br />~I Dr. EdWi.n T.Hodge relative to city liens, be disallowed. The recommendation was
<br />9 duly approved.
<br />
<br />I councilm.an Hendershott, chairman of the Finance Committee, reporte~ that
<br />he had not yet come to, a decision in regard to the B. F. Mack's offer of $300.00
<br />I for the south 44i' of the North 100' of Lot 1, Block 7, Croner's Addition, Coun-
<br />cilman Bond believed the offer of $300.00 was sufficient. Hendershott moved and
<br />~ Lamb seconded that the city have the property in question appraised and it was so
<br />. 10 ordered.
<br />
<br />The Finance Committee, by Chairman Hendershott, reported the following bills
<br />to the council with a recommendation that they be allowed, and motion was made,
<br />seconded and carried that warrants be drawn for the same. The ayes and nays were
<br />called, councilmen voting aye, ~~tx; nay, none; absent, RRi~; Simon and Zumwalt.
