M., January 11: <br />1937. Mayor Large called the meeting to order; all councilm,en ',being present except '. <br />~I, <br />i1lYlr. Reid. <br />q1 <br /> <br />or The minutes of December 28, 1936 were presented and there 'being no corrections <br />,appearing, they were ordered filed. <br /> <br />~ Mr. Victor Todd, WPA Engineer, made a second request for a donation of $100.00 <br />1 for the local sewing project. The matter was referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />.!'.~ <br /> <br />At this time Councilman Reid arrived. <br /> <br />~-I Wi th reference to- the request of F. B. Dunn for a refund of certain money paid <br />/ on city liens November 6, 1936, Councilman Harris recommended that the request be <br />2 not granted. The recommendation was approved. <br /> <br />~-~ <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />. <br />-"" <br /> <br />It was the recommendation of the Judiciary Committee that the request of Josephi e <br />R. Campbell for cancellation of interest amounting to approximately $33.00 assessed <br />t [Iagainst Lot 1, Block 6, Christian's 2nd Addition be not granted. The recommendation <br />3 II'was approved. <br /> <br />I The Finance Committee, by Chairman Hendershott, reported the following bills to <br />lithe council with a recommendation that they be allowed and motion was made, seconded <br />iiand carried that warrants be drawn for the same. The ayes and nays were called; , <br />I': counc ilmen voting aye, Lamb, Hendershott, Reid, Bond, Carlson, Hanns, Page and Far- <br />4'rington; naye, none; absent, none.
