Mayor Large called the meeting to order; all councilm,en ',being present except '. ~I, i1lYlr. Reid. q1 or The minutes of December 28, 1936 were presented and there 'being no corrections ,appearing, they were ordered filed. ~ Mr. Victor Todd, WPA Engineer, made a second request for a donation of $100.00 1 for the local sewing project. The matter was referred to the Finance Committee. .!'.~ At this time Councilman Reid arrived. ~-I Wi th reference to- the request of F. B. Dunn for a refund of certain money paid / on city liens November 6, 1936, Councilman Harris recommended that the request be 2 not granted. The recommendation was approved. ~-~ I . -"" It was the recommendation of the Judiciary Committee that the request of Josephi e R. Campbell for cancellation of interest amounting to approximately $33.00 assessed t [Iagainst Lot 1, Block 6, Christian's 2nd Addition be not granted. The recommendation 3 II'was approved. I The Finance Committee, by Chairman Hendershott, reported the following bills to lithe council with a recommendation that they be allowed and motion was made, seconded iiand carried that warrants be drawn for the same. The ayes and nays were called; , I': counc ilmen voting aye, Lamb, Hendershott, Reid, Bond, Carlson, Hanns, Page and Far- 4'rington; naye, none; absent, none. ' !
