M. for the purpose of considering and passing an ,ordinance initiating the vacation of the following described premises, to-wit: , . Commencing at the intersection of the ~outh line of Fifth Avenue we~t with the ~ast line of the alley running North and bouth between willamette ~treet and ulive btreet in the City of ~ugene, run thence soutn 160 feet, thence west 14 feet, thence Nortn 160 feet, tnence ~ast 14 feet to tne place of oeginning. MarCh 25, 1937 Pursuant to the notice of special council meeting, the council was called to order in special session by Mayor Large at 5:00 o'clock P. M., March 25, 1937 wit~ all councilmen present except Messrs. Reid and Farrington: An ordinance initiating the vacation of the following described premi~es, to-wit: (same as description above, omitted here) and calling a hearing and directing that notice be given was read the first time and passed to its second and third readings by title under suspension of the rule by unanimous ~onsent of the council and was placed upon its final passage. The ayes and nays were called, councilmen voting aye, Lamb, Hendershott, Page, Hanns, Bond and Carlson; nay, none; absent, Reid and Farrington. 'The ordinance was de- clared passed and numbered 8508.
