<br /> an ordinance initiating the vacation of the following described premises,to-wit:

<br /> bounded on the South by the North line of Clark street;
<br /> on the North by the South 1 ine of Chesh ir e Street; on
<br /> the East by the West line of Block 11, Riverwood Ad-
<br /> dition, gnd on the West by the East line of Block 12, in
<br /> Riverwood Addition to Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.

<br /> Pursuant to notice of special Council meeting, the council was called
<br />:1 to order in special session b~ Mayor Large, at 5:00 o'clock P. M., August 26, 1937
<br /> with all councilmen present except Messrs. Lamb and Carlson.
<br /> The Recorder presented a communication from S. R. Mosher, Building In-
<br /> spector, in which he requested a two weeks leave of absence, without pay, in ad-
<br /> dition to his regular two weeks vacation in order to make an extended trip to Neb-
<br /> raska and ~isconsin during the month of October. Upon motion made and seconded,
<br />I permission was unanimously granted.
<br /> An ordinance initiating the vacation of the following described premises
<br /> to-wit:
<br /> That portion of Van Buren Street in the City of Eugene
<br /> bounded on the South by the North line of Clark Street;
<br /> on the North by the ~outh line of Cheshire Street; on
<br /> I the East by the ~est line of Block 11, Riverwood Ad-
<br /> dition, and on the west by the East line of Block 12,
<br /> I in hiverwood Addition to Eugene, Lane County, Oregon,
<br />.- and calling a hearing and directing that notice be given, was read the first time
<br /> I and passed its second and third readings by title under suspension of the rule by
<br /> I the unanimous consent of the Council, and was placed upon its final passage. The
<br /> ayes and nays were called, Councilmen voting aye: Hendershott, Reid, Page, Hanns,
<br /> Farrington, Bond; nay, none; absent, Lamb and Carlson. The ordinance was declared
<br /> passed and numbered 8521.
<br /> There being no further business, the meeting was upon motion made ~nd
<br /> duly seconded, adjourned.
