The Common Council of the City of Eugene is hereby authorized and empowered <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />for one year, to-wit, for the. levy next succeeding the adoption of this act 'co levy in addition and <br /> <br />in excess of -the consti tuti onal six percent limitation upon the city"s -Gax levy, and to assess and <br /> <br />collect taxes not to exoeed one mill upon the dollar val1..8.tion upon all taxable property within the <br /> <br />City of Eugene, for the purpose of aoquiring two hundred eigtlty aores (::80) on the top of Spencer <br /> <br />Butte as a recreation park for the City of Eugene. <br /> <br />Secti on 2. That the money arising from such levy shall be d:Lsbursed by the Cormnon Counci <br /> <br />by warrants dravm by the Council upon the fund created' by this levy, which fund shall be designated <br /> <br />. . <br />as "Special Park Fund!!, said warrants to be signed by the Mayor and the City Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 3.
