<br />Mirror and Glass Company" rel!uesting the removal of the weighing scale s located at the side of his
<br />building on Fark Street. Mr. Peebles stated that the scales belonged to another party and as plans

<br />Communication was presented from Mrs. H. L. Hilliard .rraking claim to the City 0 f Eugene
<br />) in the sum of $44.50, for damages done 'to her car by a tree which blew over and hit her car while
<br />it was parked in front of a vacant lot, now o,..med by the city, on the Madison Street between
<br />Third and Fourth. The matter was referred to the Judic.iary Committee and City. Attorney for repor,t
<br />18 at the next .council meeting.

<br />Communication was presented from the Board- of Appeals stating that a request had been
<br />recei ved from Blayne M. Brewer asking for a permit to erect an apartment house on the rear of Lot 5,
<br />Block 10, Hendrick's Amended Addition, the building to consist of, four apartmentsfof,"'two r.ooms
<br />each. As the lot is located on the east side of Lincoln Street between 15th and 16th Avenues and
<br />is one and one-half blocks outside the Apartment Zone, the Board recommended that the request be
<br />denied. Upon motion made and seconded the reco~~endation of the Board of Appeals \vas approved.

<br />Y In regard to the Request of Sam Watson, asking for a permit to move his blacksmith shop
<br />from 757 Olive Street to 157 Eleventh Avenue West the Board recommended that he be granted a

<br />and Ferry Street was denied upon the recommendation 0 f the Board of Appeal s. Upon motion made and
<br />seconded the recommendation the Board of Appeals was unanimously approved.

<br />Numbered:3890, 5695, 5993, 61~8, 6264, 6590 and 7536, and all ordinances or parts of ordinances
