Councilman Farrington, Chairman of the Finance Committee, recommended the
acceptance of the following property exchange plan offered by the School District,
#4, sometime ago. He stated that three appraisals had been made on all property
been made by the city, the school board and a third appraisal by an uninterested
party. The method of reaching a price was to add the three appraisal prices and div.de
the total by three, thus securing an appraised price on the properties which were:
$16,729.97 appraisal price for the city property and $16,179.00 appraisal for the
school district property, entailing a $550.~7difference, which the school district
