The ordinance was declared passed and numbered 8661. <br /> Curb cut application No. 801 was presented from the Safeway Stores~ The <br /> City Engineer reported that he did ,not see a necessity for an additional cut, <br /> and upon motion made and seconded the request was denied. C~rb cut ~Plications I <br /> were also presented from J. H. Watson; No. 808~ Lois Traxler, No. 80 ; L. G. Hulin,' <br /> No. 810; G. H. Newton,l No. 811, and J. M. Lloyd, No. 812. As the City Engineer <br /> recormnended granting the cuts, motion was made and seconded unanimously approving <br />3g:.0the recomrnendation of the City Engineer. <br />J City Recorder C. M. Bryan reported that Joseph Harrell, local manager of <br /> the airport had personally withdrawn his ~equest to construct additional buildings <br />33 at the airport. The motion <br /> was seconded by Councilman Farrington. Councilman Reid took exception and asked <br /> that the motion include all applications except those called to the Recorder's ' <br /> attention by the Council and these would be held for investigation.
