Mayor Large stated that there was a vacancy on the playgound commission and he wished to appoint Mrs. Clifford Constance, who was a member of the school board, I and this appointment vvould have to be from the school board. On motion made by 37 Bond and seconded by Farrington this appointment was confirmed. Mayor Large asked Councilman Brownson about the Health Officer. Mr. Brownson stated that Dr. C. H. Lingreri was acting in this capacity and was reorganizing the staff. Brownson understood he was doing an excellent job. Re stated that Dr. , Lindgren had called at his office two or three times but he was not in. Mx-. Brownson said he would investigate further and report back at the next meeting. 38 It was ordered that the Oct<Dber and other salaries be paid to Dr. Lingren. 39 Alanzo Knotts was ordered placed on the payroll of the Police Department.
