He said he hardly knew what - <br /> I to say but tha tit was with deep regret he left the Council and tha t the members <br /> II of the Council and tte,City employees had always cooperated with him in every way <br /> ! and that he felt by being on the Council he had haC an opportunity to work with <br /> 15 t the best men of the City and that he wished to thank the Council and all of-the <br /> l: Ci ty employees for their support while he had been a Councilman. He said Mr. Davis, <br /> f; his successor, was present and he wished to introduce him at this time. Mr. Davis <br /> Iii said he realized the respoflsibili ty of his position and his only hope was that he <br /> :. could carryon where Mr. Bond had left off. Councilman Farrington said he felt that <br /> i the Mayor had exp~eased the feelings of all of the Council in his remarks concerning <br /> : Mr. Bond and it had been a pleasure to \lVork with 1v1I'.
