Councilmen present were: Barette, I i Stewart, Hawn, Davis, and Baker. A b s en t , J!'arrington, Koppe, and Crwnbaker. I I , The meeting was called to order by Mayor Large. He explained that the , meeting had been called on account of a request from the War Department for a resolution to clarify a resolution that had been passed on October 13, 1942. The following resolution was read and on motion made, seconded, and carried, the resolution was adopted unanimously by all members present. I RES 0 L UTI 0 N I ---------- , 1 WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Common Council of I. i the City of Eugene a document entitled, "Resolution Constituting I 1 Agreement with the United States Relative to Operation and : Maintenance of the City of Eugene Airport," and i I WHEREAS, the Resolution itself has been submitted to the , Common Council of the City of Eugene and has heretofore been I i approved by the Council I i , Now, Therefore i I Be It RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Eugene that the Mayor of said City be and he is hereby authorized and directed to sign said resolution on behalf of the City of Eugene.
