Councilman Stewart stated he thought the City would do
well to spend some monety on the building in the park before it was damaged so
far that the roof would fall in. He suggested that in the next-budget, funds
should be included to construct a cottage in the park so that one of.the City
employees could live there. .

Norman F. Schneider asked if there'was an ordinance prol).ibiting the
dumping of refuse in parking strips., and lilf there was, he would like to see it
3 strictly enforced. He stated he would like to have the Council look at the
parking strip at the west side of Hilyard, north of 19th,street and Council-
man-Farrington suggested that No. 673 JeffeIlson street should be cleaned up.
Councilman Barette promised t~ see what could be done with this problem.

2

4.

5

6

7

~

.1

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

Judicia~y Committee

no report

,
Councilman Farrington reporting for the Finance Committee presented
the property offers as follows:

Grant Yates offers $75.00 cash for the west 54.4 feet of ~ot 9, block 2,
Fairmount Heights Addition.
